Just
what have you done to me, mum?
Mind you, a plastic mac was just what was needed for our parade as halfway
through the heavens opened. We all got soaked, including my camera, which
accounts for a few out of focus shots toward the end of the parade. Well
thats my excuse anyway! |

found it so boring netting the ducks at the end of the race that we replaced

We
were very lucky this year to be able to welcome Musikverein "Eintracht"
Lehrensteinsfeld, a wind band from the town of Lehrensteinsfeld, about 50km
from Stuttgart in Germany.

Our
annual Teddy Bears Pic-Nic took place as usual this year. Unfortunately
we did not have many entrants. Please can we do better next year? I am sure
there are many Teddys out there who really would like their own Pic-Nic. |

The
childrens Boat Building Contest was a great success.Rather than select any
particular boat to show here, (there were many worthy contestants), I thought
you may be interested in this photo of Trevor, our PRO and Treasurer. Trevor
practices the ancient art of Plate Glass Window Mime Yoga. Here he is seen
brushing up on his skills during a free moment :-) |
