All Events At Durley And Alum Chine Are For Children Up To The Age Of 16 Years
(Assisted By Parents Where Necessary)

Charity Stall and at All events from Committee members; 20p per
ticket and prizes Include: Travel Vouchers; Wines; Spirits; Chocolates;
Family tickets to various theme parks and more.

• 7.30 pm - SELECTION OF CARNIVAL QUEEN; PRINCE CONSORT; PRINCESS
  AND PAGE BOY
  

Selection of CARNIVAL QUEEN, PRINCE CONSORT (14-20 years of age), PRINCESS & PAGE BOY (10-13 years of age).
This opportunity is open to all young people resident within the BH1 to BH12 Postcode areas and hosted by Lucy Rednapp.

The elected Court will lead the Bournemouth Carnival on Sunday 7 August and at other carnivals or fetes in the area as requested and in some functions for the Mayor of Bournemouth as required

ALUM CHINE

• 10.30 am - "Superstars" events with your friendly Carnival Crew to get the week
  off to a good energetic start.

Open to all children up to the age of 16 years in an enclosure on the sand.

• 11.00 am - The first of our Sand Building Contests so bring your buckets, spades and anything else required to impress the judges with your creative designs.

Open to all children up to the age of 16 years and depending on number of entries they will be split into three age groups. Prizes in each group.

• 2.00 pm - More creativity, this time with Chalk Drawing, will we find the next Monet?

BOURNE STREAM -
BOURNEMOUTH (adjacent Pine Walk Band stand)

• 5.00 pm - Duck Racing for parents and children with ducks to race for only 20p - Great Fun!

Plastic Ducks supplied on payment of 20p entry fee. There will be a minimum of 12 heats with 12 ducks each race; the winner of each heat will go to final race and the winner of the final will receive a Special Prize award.

• 7.15 pm - Musical display by followed by a presentation of dance.

DURLEY CHINE

• 10.30 am - We start the day showing off our creativity with our Sand Building Contest

• 11.30 am – we then send you packing for our fun Treasure Hunt (Ahoy me hearties).

Join our Treasure Hunt to try and win the bootie. Items underfoot we seek, but be hasty we haven't got all week.

• 2.00 pm – And our 2nd Chalk Drawing Contest.

BOURNE STREAM -
BOURNEMOUTH (adjacent Pine Walk Band stand)

• 5.00pm - More fun racing the ducks down the stream so bring your loose change with you.

• 10.30 am - Episode 3 of our daily Sand Building Contests. What can you design today?

• 11.30 am - We test your local knowledge (and eyesight) with our easy Beach Quiz

• 3.00 pm - Today's the day the Teddy Bears have their picnic

• 5.00 pm - Back up to the Lower Gardens to join us for some more fun racing plastic ducks in the stream.

• 6.00 pm - Time to go dancing again

• 2.00 pm - Musical Presentation.

• 10.30 am - Sweet Revenge

• 11.00 am - Sand Building

• 2.00 pm – Once again we get the chalks out and go drawing on the Promenade without getting arrested

• 5.00 pm – More fun racing ducks in the stream and a chance to win a magnificent prize sponsored by THE MARSHAM COURT HOTEL, BOURNEMOUTH.

• 6.00 pm - Dance Presentation followed by a somewhat unusual Musical Presention

• 8.00 pm - Musical Presentation.

• 10.30 am - It's time to go Bug Hunting.

• 11.00 am - Last of our Chalk Drawing events.

• 2.00 pm - Decorated Boats Contest.

• 3.30 pm – Tiny Tots Competition

• 5.15 pm - Last chance to join us Duck Racing

• 1.00pm Brazillian Soca Skills with TOM WELLER followed by Zumba fitness with KELLY STROUD

• 2.00 pm – Get your costumes out for our Fancy Dress competition

• 3.00 pm – Dance Presentations

4.00pm Musical Presentation
